*Draw a picture of a favorite memory of the pet.
*Set up a small memorial table in your home where you can display collected objects.
*Collect & give your pet's toys and possessions away to other pet friends.
*Write a poem
*Start a journal
*Begin a ritual of rememberance, i.e. lighting a memorial candle.
*Donate to a charity that makes sense as a memorial to your deceased pet.

Before They Go

*Take lots of photographs. You can make T-shirts, mouse pads, screen savers, and more from the photos.

*Draw, paint or sculpt a portrait.

*Cut and save a locket of their fur, or a feather.

*Make an audio recording of their voice (bark, meow, chirp.)

*Record video footage of them, or their special activities.

*Use the video or audio recordings to embellish your blog, website, ringtone, etc.
